Referencing the archive:
When you refer to a message in the archive, look at the official number in the header X-Seq, if available, otherwise in X-Mailing-List.
Then you can use a URL of the form:
http://www.zsh.org/cgi-bin/mla/redirect?USERNUMBER=.....
http://www.zsh.org/cgi-bin/mla/redirect?WORKERNUMBER=.....
replacing the dots with the message number.
