More [probably my fault] woes

Thank you for your very prompt response on my last question, I was
expecting a longer wait, not 1 day...

Anyway, zsh does not seem to want to run any scripts, no matter how
simple.

[BEGIN xyzzy]
#!/bin/sh
[END xyzzy]

won't run. It says "xyzzy: command not found". How can I fix this?

I skimmed the info page, did I miss something?
Thank you again,
