PATCH: small configure.ac change

Heyla,
a small cleanup with AWK usage in configure.ac.
1) We shouldn't need to backslash quote the string character in the
single-quoted area. Was this supposed to be for a specific platform?
2) use slash as the boundary for the constant RE instead of the
   backslash and double-quote pairs.

Regards,
Geoff
