PATCH: update _date and _date_formats

_date now calls _date_formats.

Both _date and _date_formats are updated for linux,
darwin, freebsd, dragonfly, openbsd and netbsd,
but tested only on linux, darwin and freebsd.
For other three BSDs I just looked into their man pages.

For solaris, I *tried* not to modify anything.
