It wasn't my attempt to engage in an argument with Felipe. In fact, I
would very much like to avoid that regardless of the topic. Based on
past experience it would result in nothing but waste of time and
frustration.

I voiced my opinion to let zsh maintainers know which side of the
argument appears more persuasive to me. I'm acting in the capacity of
an observer here without having any arguments of my own..
