They 'prevent' ... What would not be prevented if there were only four colons? What else would be prevented if there were six? ten? How do we know what is being prevented? I normally think of code giving instructions to 'do' something. Here it's telling zsh *not* to do something, but not what it is that it shouldn't do? I am only mortal, this is for the Gods.
