Just to be philosophical and obscure, I myself find that when I understand how something originated it helps me quite a bit in understanding how it should be used. The 'how' is directly downstream from the need that was originally being satisfied and to understand that, an excursion into the history of the thing is apt.Thanks. As a user, I don't care how it originated, I care about how to use it. There was no ! in my question, so I didn't look in the history section of the manual.
