1-2 more months to get it in a state where it's still considered
experimental is not what i had in mind i guess
we've discussed the 'mark it as experimental' option before on irc. one
concern was that things marked as experimental often have a way of
staying like that for ever. atm i'm indifferent to the idea personally
there was some agreement that releasing a bunch of big new features as
5.10 and then following up with a 6.0 that probably/hopefully only makes
minor changes to them is a weird approach
anyway, 1-2 months to get it ready plus however long for test releases
probably puts us back on the 5.9.1 idea then. i will continue looking
into that
